Tips Cara Menjaga/Merawat Lapisan Warna Krom/Chrome Pada Sepeda Motor/Mobil

Warna krom (chrome) adalah warna perak cermin yang memiliki efek penampilan yang lebih menarik, ngejreng, ekslusif dan elegan jika melekat pada suatu benda. Warna chrome (krom) banyak digunakan untuk berbagai barang termasuk pada kendaraan bermotor seperti sepeda motor dan mobil. Pada umumnya warna krom dipakai banyak kendaraan bermotor pada bagian-bagian seperti bemper, pelek, spakbor, kaca spion, logo, nama merek, knalpot, aksesoris, dan lain sebagainya. Dengan paduan warna dasar dengan warna krom (chrome) bisa memperkeren penampilan suatu kendaraan bermotor.
Di balik penampilan warna khrom (chrome) yang menawan, ternyata terdapat suatu kekurangan dari bagian-bagian yang diberi warna krom (chrome), yaitu membutuhkan perawatan yang ektra agar warna kromnya bisa awet dan kecemerlangannya bisa terjaga dengan baik dalam jangka panjang. Salah perawatan bisa berakibat lapisan warna chrome (krom) pada mobil atau sepeda motor bisa cepat berkarat, cepat menguning, cepat redup warnanya, dan lain sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu ada baiknya anda mengetahui tips-tips berikut ini agar lapisan krom (chrome) pada sepeda motor dan mobil anda bisa awet dan tahan lama sepanjang waktu.
Jika kotor atau basah segera bilas dengan air bersih lalu kemudian dilap hingga kering dengan kain yang teksturnya halus agar tidak membuat lapisan krom menjadi baret-baret. Jika noda pada lapisan krom tidak segera dibersihkan bisa beresiko timbul karat yang akan membuat penampilan menjadi tidak sedap dipandang mata. Selain karat juga bisa memudar warnanya dan kinclongnya lalu mulai berubah menjadi kekuning-kuningan.
Ketika membersihkan bagian mobil atau sepeda motor yang terlapisi warna krom (khrome) sebaiknya tidak menggunakan bahan kimia apa-apa termasuk cairan khusus pembersih bodi kendaraan sekalipun karena bisa membuat warna krom berangsur-angsur menjadi kuning krom. Gunakan minyak kayu putih atau bedak untuk membersihkan kotoran pada bagian yang warna krom (chrome) supaya warnanya bisa selalu terjaga dengan baik.
